Standing proud for over 100 years the Station Hotel situated in the heart of the historic town of Melrose will be your home away from home. Whether you’re coming to watch the rugby at the Melrose Sevens in April or out to enjoy one of the many walks around the area, the Station Hotel is the perfect base. “If Melrose is a wonderful secret, The Station Hotel is the jewel! Perfectly clean and comfortable rooms, ambiance great and the staff are fantastic, Friendly, welcoming, extremely helpful and the catchphrase appears to be ‘nae bother’. I arrived late, but received a friendly welcome. The kitchen was just closing but the chef was happy to stay on and serve up a delicious steak and ale pie..nae bother…I asked for a little help with a small extension to the check out time as the funeral I was attending was in the afternoon…nae bother… I left my jacket upon departure, they found it and wills end it on…nae bother! Breakfast excellent. Special thanks to Jim and his staff. See you again for sure.”
